A REAL BATH

With my busy schedule I usually find I only have time to jump in the shower and back out.  Then I have to dry my hair, makeup, dress and rush to catch my subway in time to be smiling at my desk at the correct time (my boss is stickler for being on time.)  But once a week on Thursdays I plan a little extra time for ME.  Living alone, I don’t have someone to pamper me (cupid are you seeing this – send me someone OK) so I have to pamper myself.  I run a real bath tub full of water drop in a couple of fizzy bath tablets, light a candle or two in the bathroom,  and soak as long as I like.  No hurry, no schedule and I try to only think of things that are pleasant to me.  The phone is ignored as is all the other things I need to get done.  This one bath pumps a ton of vitality back into my body and soul.
